Customer – Fixed Prices

Fixed Prices Overview

Customers Fixed Price Items locks in any special price you have negotiated with your customer. When you select the tick box in the fix price column for an item, the current sell price for the Price List they have been assigned (e.g. price List 1), will appear. 

You can now edit this price and lock it in by clicking on the SAVE button at the bottom of the list. Once you save the edited price it will not be affected by any price changes you make to the customers assigned price list.

OPTION: You can also apply the fixed price to the customers’ current order, by selecting the tick box at the bottom of the A-Z product list.
Click the save button.

NOTE: If you have fixed prices for an item that you have on special the customer will be charged the specials price if the value is less than the fixed price.

Import/Export Fixed Prices

If the majority of your customers have fixed pricing then manually entering these fixed prices can be a time consuming task. Uploading fixed prices using a cvs fiel can be very useful and time saving.

To Import
Navigate to Customer/ Upload Fixed Prices
Click on Download Sample
The file contains field names CustomerName, ItemName & FixedPrice.
Enter the values required & save the file to your computer.

NOTE: The customer name and the item name must be identical to the data in the system. Any differences will cause the upload to fail

To import click on the Choose File button next to Import Fixed Price List

Navigate to the the saved file

Click on the Upload button

Your fixed prices will upload in a batch

To Export

You may want to edit a customers fixed prices or apply a one particular customers prices to another.

Search by Customer Name and select the customer you require.
Click on Export
Navigate to folder where the file was downloaded to.
Edit the file and import it again,as per instructions above

NOTE: If your sales reps are resposible for their customers fixed prices you can search by Rep Name. This will give you a file with all the customers that Rep has been assigned to. This is particularly helpful as it allows you to edit more than one customer at a time. 


Manage Fixed Prices

UPDATED 15/6/2020.
This new feature, enables you to edit fixed prices and the expiry dates for all customers on one page.

Navigate to Customers>Manage fixed Prices.

Select an expiry date. (the default is today date)
The page displays all the customers with items that have a fixed price and that have expire on or before the date selected

The page shows the business name, item with the fixed price, the purchase price, the list price the fixed price and the fixed price expiry date.

  • You can also sort by business name, item, customer and date.

  • To show all items for all customers with fixed price click on the Show All Fixed Price Items radio button

  • To remove fixed prices, select the entry and click the remove fixed price button

  • To edit a fixed price, enter the amount in the text box

  • To change the expiry date, click on the date to display a calendar where a new date can be selected

  • After any changes click the save changes button
